Hi I've been doing medical billing for over 11 years but am new to Spine Surgery billing; Are there any tips on which codes are bundled together? (some codes i bill are 22214, 22216, 22633, 22614, 63052, 63053, 22853, 22842,64722,63030 and 63047) I'm just having a hard time with the denials due to a lot of codes being inclusive to one another. Also not sure if there are any seminars or webinars on this that might help

There are resource links in these threads, just check the dates, some may be older but the concepts would still be the same. You need a NCCI edit checker or other edit tool when billing big spine cases especially at first when you are not familiar with the codes and bundling. Some cases can have lots of lines esp. when it's an anterior/posterior big fusion.
Sometimes they have webinars for free: https://www.medtronic.com/en-us/healthcare-professionals/reimbursement/spineline.html

Would also add, a spine surgery (or any really) should never make it out the door to get denied at the health plan level. This needs to be addressed pre-bill with in house edits, and making sure it is coded correctly before putting it on a claim.
