Hi - We are using codes 62322 for these injections now being done by one of our PEDS neurologist. If imaging guidance is used, then code 62323 should be used, however, that guidance would be performed by a radiologist - not the neurologist who is doing the injection. AND we believe the code includes the LP (used for access), but the radiologist MIGHT be doing that too. Anyone have experience with this? Denials? Thanks, Lynne Gardner, CPC, Coding Coordinator
