Wiki Split/Share Credentialing Question

When submitting to Medicare I understand the supervisory physician has to be credentialed with Medicare. But does the PA or NPP assisting the physician in the Split/Share have to be credentialed with Medicare in order for the claim to be paid?
So far I have not been able to find a clear answer on the CMS website. Thanks!
