When billing split/shared services for our Mid level providers our EMR doesnt allow our MD's to document their portion until the mid level has signed off on their part of the note. Does anyone know if it would be considered accurate documentation if the MD were to dictate his date and time of his portion of visit in notes field rather than waiting for an addendum section to become available, this happens after the MLP signs the note which may or may not be same day. Just looking for some more information Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks
