Hello, I remember being told something in the past that if a patient's hospital status is "discharge planning" then it would not be considered medically necessary for the PA and MD to perform a split/shared subsequent visit. Has anyone else ever encountered this? I am trying to locate some documentation guidance on this matter but cannot find anything stating this in particular. Thank you!
