I am looking for guidelines on billing for split/shared visits with a MD and NPPA. Specifically, does the claim need to reflect the MD as the rendering provider, or MD as supervising and NPPA as rendering?

More information is needed to be able to address your question. Some people have a different definition of split/ shared encounter, so I want to b sure I am understanding the specifics of your encounter.
