I work for a group of 3 OB/GYN providers and 1 CNM. My question is how you would bill when the CNM does 80% of the delivery but the OB/GYN has to come in and place a vacuum to assist the delivery. The delivery summary from the hospital lists the OB/GYN as the delivering provider. Do you have to bill according to who is listed at the hospital as the delivering provider?
