37 wk gestation. Patient is covered by commercial carrier. Patient had ruptured membrane at home and went into labor. Once EMS arrived baby was delivered. Upon arrival to Labor/Delivery unit baby was out but placenta was still intact. Physician delivered placenta. Can I still bill the global delivery code or would I need to go back and bill for all ante visits and then the delivery of placenta. Thanks in advance for all the advice. :confused:
 
A global OB package includes the delivery so I would agree with your proposal, unbundle the Global OB package with antepartum, placenta delivery,and post partum visits.
