We are in Family Practice and starting to see quite a bit of these types of exams, but it seems that all the provider is doing is filling out a form and at times doing thier own note, how is everyone out there handling these types of exams, I just came in, but what they have been doing in the pass is billing 99429 with V70.3. I agree with the use of the unlisted preventive code but we don't expect payment from insurance on these. We require the patients pay the fee upfront.

Thank you, that is what they have doing here is billing that code and collecting upfront for that visit, since the patients are not using insurance for this type of visit.
