I have a question for those that code Anesthesia, I am new to Anesthesia coding and am gaining knowledge daily, however this has me scratching my head.

Colonoscopy procedure had to be stopped due to a scope issue and then restarted. How do I code the Anesthesia?

Start 9:29 Stop 9:47

Restart 10:10 Stop 10:24

Based on documentation I am not sure the CRNA was in the room during the interruption, I will have to verify. Can someone please help me code with the CRNA in the room the entire time and if the CRNA left the room during the interruption.
