Hi,
I have some claims that ridiculously denied for timely filing due to adjustments being made by insurance. These were claims back in 2013 in which we corrected and entered the NDC#s and sent on several times. My question is insurance wants me to appeal and request a state hearing.

Exactly what is this process? Has anyone done this before?

Please help!!!

Thanks.

Each state has guidelines for an appeal process with an insurance carrier. First, you will have to have the proof that you met timely filing on initial claims filing and then on timely filing of appeals with documentation to support your appeals. In Texas, you would contact the Texas Department of Insurance and wade through the appeals processes. Good luck
