Hello, I work in Massachusetts for Ear Nose and Throat and patients are communicating with us virtually, via telephone and through patient portals.
Is there a summary for which modifiers and POS codes state insurance companies are requiring for remote visits? and how they correspond to which CPT's?
For example, Network Tufts, Medicaid, Mass Health, Fallon?
Is anyone else billing these in Massachusetts yet? We have gotten nowhere on the phone with state insurance companies on the use of proper modifiers and POS for 99441-99443, 98966-98962, G2012, G2061-G2063. Which of these CPT's are to be billed?
