Should a post operative status code be billed with a surgical procedure that has zero global days?

I am unsure whayt you are asking for.. A dx code? you use the reason for the surgery as the dx for the procedure. Then for the post op days you use the post op V code the same as for any procedure regardless of the post op days.

When billing a pre-op exam you are supposed to bill a status code of V72.83 and then the reason for the surgery. I wanted to know does this apply to surgeries that have zero global days.
