Good morning,
Patient is in for a routine exchange of a ureteral stent via a nephrostomy. Nothing is wrong with the ostomy, just routine stent exchange in the ureter. How should this be coded for ICD 10 CM coding purposes for the stent exchange? Is Z466 correct with a status code for the ostomy; or is attention to the ostomy the correct path to take? Or possibly something I've missed entirely. Thank you for your
