Hello,

Need some help here, my cardiologist placed (2) stents on the same artery,
Do I bill 92980 x 2, or do I just bill code 92980 one time because it was in the same artery.

Confused, please help

I have read over code 92980 and in your situation it appears that you would only report 92980 once. If you had additional stents in a different vessel then you would report 92981 in addition to 92980.
