I have received information that I am not sure of with these new cardiac codes...if a DES is placed in Mid LAD and Proximal LAD in the same session...would this just be billed 92928/LD OR 92928/LD and 92929/LD (non billable code)?

It would be 92928 once. You're in the same vessel. Stents aren't being placed in different branches.

I would code 92928-LD.

The stents were placed in different areas of the same "major" artery (LAD).

There is no mention of an "additional branch" - so no need for 92929.
