Wiki Stool cards 82270/88272

Our office sends patients home with stool cards after being seen in the office by a provider, to be returned in the office, and our office staff processes the cards. My question is this a billable in addition to the office visit? The physician is not performing the test. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Also, a physician doesn't personally need to do something in order for it to be billable; most in-office tests do not personally involve the physician.

It is billable, however some carriers only pays for one, not three.
