Hi all!
What do you use for a dx for a strangulation of an infant's toe by a wraparound hair?
Nothing seems to really fit, I am using a superficial injury code.
Thanks for the input!
 
I've used the superficial injury code as primary, with "E928.4--external constriction caused by hair" as secondary.
