Is it possible to utilize a subQ lead CPT code with a Biventricular ICD? My provider is adding a "MDT subcutaneous shocking coil" utilizing a MDT adapter to the previously inserted RV coil. I see a reference indicating utilize the ICD lead codes OR unlisted. Why not use 33271-insertion of subcutaneous defibrillator lead?
