If your physician is consulted on a patient that is listed in a Obeservation Status and you bill a Cousult/New visit (depedning on payer) with place of service outpatient hosptial and then your physicain does a follow up the next day should you use the subsequent observation codes? The CMS wording says that subsequent observation codes should be used by the "supervising" physician.
