Has anyone had billing denial issues with Blue Shield CA Covered CA plans for RTC level of care. I am billing rev. code 0101, with cpt code of H0018.
I did confirm the RTC is a covered benefit for sub-acute, where I know DETOX is not.

I was advised to send appeal with medical records for medical necessity. Is there perhaps a more appropriate codes I can bill with, where medical records would not be requested. I do have auth. for RTC. as well.

Any feed back would be great.
