Our physician saw a small child in the ED and had to put the child under Anesthesia to remove the stuck together eyelashes so the child could open her eye again. Is there a procedure code for this ? Would an Unspecified code be used for this ? What would be similar in RVU value ?My physician wants to use CPT # 67710- Severing of Tarsorrhaphy. I don't believe that this would be correct. Does anyone have any ideas for this code ? I don't know if an exam under Anesthesia code could be used for this with a 22 modifier ? He used Westcott scissors. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you
