I was wondering if anyone had a sample superbill they could send me or if anyone could share any of the most commonly used CPT codes for a general surgeon? Meeting with a surgeon later this week and would like to get an idea what types of procedures are performed.. is it anything in the surgery section of CPT?

Thanks in advance!!

I do not have a superbill but general surgeons perform lesion excision and destruction, debridement, tissue transfer and flaps, mastectomy, sentinel node biopsy, wound repair, skin grafts, pacemaker placement removal and repairs, central venous access catheter placement, colonoscopy, polyp removal, hemorrhoid treatment and hernia repair.

Also endoscopy, appendectomy, transplantation, thyroid biopsy and thyroid lobectomy. I would recommend the general surgeon study guide from the aapc if you want to learn more.
