Wiki Supervising Physician Billing

I would like to verify supervising physician billing for audiology. We have an audiologist to employs a dispensing provider (not recognized by insurances). I need to verify that it is allowable to list the audiologist as the rendering physician. We have a carrier who is denying because the billing provider and rendering provider don't match and the rendering is not certified to bill.
