Coding Supervisor – Neighborcare Health, a private, non-profit community healthcare organization that serves low-income, culturally diverse populations through its medical, dental and school based health centers. The Coding Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of the Coding staff & supports the Billing Manager in the daily management of the department. Ensure appropriate coding of services & diagnosis, maintain knowledge of coding conventions, guidelines, updates, & regulations governing government & third party billing to ensure coding & documentation meets regulatory guidelines & audit standards, resulting in reimbursement. Review provider coding for medical & dental claims. BA preferred, AAPC certification required. 2 yrs med service compliance & coding exp with 1 yr supervisor exp. 2 yrs exp in medical patient billing system including entry of charges & payments.
