Procedure: open calyceal diverticulectomy of kidney
DX: calyceal diverticulum of kidney-9cm

Any thoughts / ideas on billing this

I found this out on the web:

A caliceal diverticulum is a cystic cavity of the kidney, which is lined with urothelium and has (or had) a connection to a renal calyx..

I would choose 50280 excision of cyst of kidney, dx N28.89
