Morning forum,

I hope you can help me. I need to find in writing what date to use when a surgery starts on Monday evening and is finished Tuesday morning. I would like proof in black and white to set down concrete rules. I have always used the date the surgery started, but I have to back up this statement with proof in writing.

Margaret, I don't know of anything in writing but I also the start date. Maybe you could check with facility to see what date they are using.

I would check with the anesthesia rules. I believe you follow that date.
