Our Dr said there was a mass he called a glandular secreation and he was able to flip it out of the ductal opening with a Q-tip. He also said it was a white mass in the superior posterior pharynx to the left of the uvula. He is saying this is a procedure, but I am not finding a CPT code for it. Has anyone ever coded something like this and have a code for me? Thanks much

Hmmmm........sounds like the Dr. is stretching it...also sounds like these were tonsil concretions? and removing them with a q-tip does not qualify as "surgery"; so, with that being said, I would advise on billing the appropriate E/M.
