Pt was having gallbladder surgery and the surgeon called in our doc due to extreme adhesions. She advised but did not scrub into the procedure. How do i code this??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What and how did your surgeon document the service?

Did she note time spent in counseling/coordination of care ... that's really what your surgeon was doing.
