Coding for cystoscopy with b/l cath placement and repair cystotomy done by one provider. A different provider completed a laparoscopic appendectomy and sigmoidectomy. Can we charge for all these since they were done by different providers on same day?
 
Yes, it's common for two specialties to do two surgeries utilizing one anesthesia/op session. The urologist would bill for their surgery, the general surgeon will bill for their surgery. No modifiers required.
