Good Morning,

I have a surgery that started on the 19th and ended at 0053 on the 20th with an order put in to admit patient to hospital on the 20th after surgery. Surgery code can only be billed as an inpatient code. Just needing some help to see when you would bill the surgery; does it start with the first incision or when the patient is closed?

Any help would be appreciated.
