Any know the CPT code for Surgical Draim removal?
 
Is there a reason why the different physician/group is doing the removal? Was this maybe a transfer of care where your physician is doing post op and another group did the actual surgery?
 
I have this same question. Patient had laparoscopic surgery out of state and my office (PCP in Kentucky) has done the penrose drain removal. What would the proper code be?
