I have a doc that did a wound revision on a patient with a probable CSF leak after he removed her intrathecal catheter the week before. The note is rather short and states that the staples and steri-strips were removed, the area was scrubbed with chloroprep x2, and then the skin was tightly closed with a running monocryl suture and then demabond and ster-strips were applied. Would this possibly be a secondary closure? looking around we came up with 13160 but I'm not sure that the information given really constitutes as a complex or extensive repair. Help would be greatly appreciated!
