Does anyone have a suggestion for a dx code for history of uncertain behavior neoplasm (of the renal pelvis)?

History of uncertain behavior... Interesting. I know the renal pelvis is part of the ureter and being it is uncertain you might want to look at 236.91. There is no "V" code for such a dx... {that I know of}.

Just my 2 cents.

I thought it was interesting too. My physician gave me v10.53 and V71.1 but I don't think those are just quite right, so I was hoping to find a better suggestion.

I am leaning towards V71.1 (now the intended reason is to look for possible malignancy) and V13.8 (since it was not malignant at first, it should fall under hx of disease of specified site).

HTH.
