I've never coded for suture removal after cataract surgery even if it's after the post op period, I've always included it in the office visit code. I have one now that we took to the ASC to do the suture removal on a 4 year old who had surgery 6 months ago. We also did a complete exam under anesthesia as we were never able to get a good look on this active little boy. Is the suture removal bundled with the 92018, or should I code it seperately with 66999?

As 15850 and 15851 pertain to the integumentary system I'm not sure they would apply to sutures in the eye. Any other ideas?
