one of our providers removed sutures from a patient that were put in by a another provider out of our practice. HCPC code S0630 is the correct code. Does anyone know if health pays on this? i can not locate any info on the CMS website for an allowable.

It is a non medicare code, it is acceptable by most Medicaid payers and possibly a few commercial otherwise you can charge an office visit if the procedure has a 0 global or you charge the procedure code with the 55 modifier if you are in the global.
