Does anyone have any information on Swift Microwave Therapy for warts? Is it covered by insurance? If yes, what CPT would be used? 17110 is used for destruction, but we are not convinced the Swift therapy would fall under that since it is a non destructive immune therapy that uses microwave energy. If the treatment itself is a self pay only service and not billable to insurance, can the disposable applicator tip be billed to the insurance? I have received conflicting answers and would really appreciate any knowledge anyone can share. Thank you
