One of our physicians is seeing patients in a swing-bed and now the UHC Medicare Advantage plan is doing a take back of all their payments.:confused:

Should the provider use the SNF procedure codes (99304-99310) or IP hospital visit codes? The place of service states hospital swing bed and the IOM is not making it clear as to how the physician should bill. It seems to read that the Part B bills as inpatient hospital, but I'm not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
