Good Afternoon!

We had a patient in Swing Bed that had to be life flighted due to new onset seizure activity. Our NP and Hospitalist were overseeing his care. Per our third party Medicare biller, he states that we can create an ED Acct and move the charges involving intubation and emergent care to a created ED Acct, even though the patient never went to the ED or saw an ED Provider. Thoughts?
