I am seeing the letter "T" after E/M codes. Example: 99203 for the MD, then 99203T is another, same provider. The code ending with a "T" is priced higher than the one without. Any idea as to what the "T" stands for and what should I use to price it down. Thank you for your assistance. Beth

Where are you seeing this "T"? It's not a standard part of the code set. Perhaps it's something that your organization or your billing system uses internally to identify the code in some way, but it's not something that is universally used. In fact, if you tried to submit a CPT code with a letter at the end, it would be rejected by the payer or clearinghouse as invalid.
