Hello all,
I'm curious if anyone has some hard documentation on weather two surgeons of same specialty can assist and act as primary surgeons during the same operative session. example would be:
Dr A : Lap Hysterectomy - Primary
Dr B: Lap hysterectomy - Assist
Dr B: Lap - Sacrocolopexy - Primary
Dr A: Lap Sacrocolopexy - Assist.
I need documentation preferably from Medicare that these physicians can not "Tag Team". That its just not an ethics issue but an actual guideline.
