To all;
I am Compliance Officer for my facility, and I'm still in my infancy (less than one year old). I have recently completed my CPC-H course and I am gearing up for my certification exam. It has been recommended by the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General that Compliance training for staff should be two fold; one version tailored for general staff and another version specific to coding and billing staff. Since I am new to the industry and not yet a certified coder, I don't feel knowledgable or experienced enough to teach our coding and billing staff something they don't already know. We are a very small rural CAH, and have 3 other certified coders and a billing staff of 6 including the director.
Has anyone got any suggestions or direction I could take here? Google hasn't produced anything worthwhile.
Thanks-
Barb
