Is the taxonomy code for the attending and or operating provider on a electronic Part a Claim 837I required?

If both MD or DO , it’s same
If operating provider is NP or PA, then no it’s different

I believe that the provider’s taxonomy is including in the credentialing process and attached to the provider’s record with the payer. I know that is how it works with CMS/Medicare
