Wiki TC or 26????

Can anyone help me with the following please?
We use ULTRASONIC GUIDANCE FOR NEEDLE PLACEMENT (76942) when performing a pump refill in the office. If the physician owns the machine which modifier would be used 26 or TC or both?

if the doctor is also performing the service with supervision and interpretation, it is my understanding there would be no need of either modifier. It would stand alone as 76942 One of our physicians uses LT or RT as the anatomical modifiers.

I agree, if the physician owns the equipment and is performing & supervising then no modifier is required.

Thank you what about adding a 59 modifier to that code?

I was told to ask that question, So I did.

The 59 mod will depend on what other codes are being billed on the same DOS. Can you give any examples of what other codes would be used with it?
