Hello,

I am in search of the CPT code that others may be using in pediatric pulmonary clinics for Transcutaneous CO2 testing (TCom).

I can find plenty of information on the testing; however nothing on coding guidance. It is similar as to what is performed in the NICU as it is a sensor placed on the infant's leg that measures the level of CO2 in the blood - NOT expired.

A specially trained RT is performing the testing which takes at least an hour for each patient with the physician then entering an interpretation of the readings.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
