Good morning,

Does anyone know if the primary care exception rule pertains to well/routine office visits for a pediatrician? I think it would, but CMS only give examples of their preventive visit and annual wellness visit codes.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Since Medicare does not pay for those codes, they would not be in the Teaching Guidelines. So you will have to reach out to each carrier to know what they accept.
