I’m looking to get some coding guidance regarding the Team Conference codes 99366-99368. We have internal staff meetings to discuss members care and they are all in the same specialty (Psychiatric), but they may be of different disciplines such as Case Managers, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants, etc. Would we be able to bill for these meetings since they are of different disciplines, or does it have to be both different specialties and different disciplines? I’m also keeping the guidelines criteria in mind as well.
 
Per EncoderPro Payers Professional edition the QHPs can be of different disciplines or specialties but only 1 QHP per specialty may bill for the team conference, so while you may have the physician, NP, PA, case manager all participating in the conference only 1 of them can bill for the service.
