Hi,
Curious about the guidelines regarding the technical component for Radiology services.
We were recently advised we can code the technical component only for Radiology services without a final interpretation note from a provider.
Is anyone else doing this in their hospital?

yes you can.....you bill the technical component based on the indication on the order. if you waited for radiologists (or any reading provider, for that matter), you'd never get anything out the door.
