I'm hoping someone can help me find printed info to give my MD's. I have seen documentation that it is ok for the patient to be at home during telehealth visits right now. My question is what is the requirement of the physician-can they be at home while doing this? Do you know where I can find written documentation to provide for them? I thought that the physician had to be in the clinic, but they want proof for that. Thank you so much! I really appreciate any help you can give!

Does anyone know if this will be changing when the PE ends? Will the provider still be able to provide telehealth from their home?

per CMS :

Practitioner Locations:
When the PHE ends, current regulations will continue to allow for a deferral to state law. We originally implemented the waiver out of an abundance of caution; however, it turned out that regulations that existed before the PHE allowed for a deferral to state law.

here are 2 links that provide state by state rules. be sure to check the laws for both of the states involved:

**EDITED to add - I don't believe the CMS guidance is finalized yet, so keep on top of updates as they come. **
**2nd EDIT - I just realized that I misread the question and this was not about which state the provider is in. but It's good information.**
