My provider had a telehealth visit and the next day did a partial nephrectomy on this patient. This was the first time "seeing" the patient. If I can charge for it, how would I do this? 99204-57-95? Patient has Wellmark BCBS South Dakota.
 
The global package rules do apply to telehealth. I don't know the guidelines for telehealth for Wellmark BCBS South Dakota, but if they follow Medicare, 9920x-57-95 would be accurate. (At least through 09/30/2025 unless Congressional action is taken.)
